Motor racing at night requires a special kind of dedication. Both from the racers, marshals, officials and spectators. I tried to capture elements of all this, plus the snowy weather, in this painting. It's hard to pick my favourite element in this image, but there is something I like about the figures on the sides, in the dark and the cold.
