The sea at night fascinates me. It also scares me a little. But the mysterious beauty of an empty dark sea cannot be ignored. I wanted to create a scene of atmospheric mystery, and I thought briefly about adding a couple of human figures but quickly decided against it. A city and a lighthouse in the distance provided enough hint of a human presence. Acrylic on Canvas. 40 x 30 cm.
